This is a funny story about a family consisting of a cat, and her 2 humans. They have a baby and the story is about transition. Transition for the cat and the humans as the baby enters their world. There are real life feelings and situations but introduced at a level for a child. The cat eventually learns to accept the baby and the world of balance is good again.
I love it so much!!!!! Thank you.I enjoy reading it over and over again.it is my favorite book!! I love it!!

I am not sure what prompted me to buy and read this today. I recall reading this when I was 7 or 8 and I just loved it. I was reminiscing I guess. It’s such a well written book and such a cute story - I’m glad I found it.
According to my son, this book is 4 stars. My son enjoyed this novel saying how funny and interesting it was as the main character was a cat and the narrative written in the point of view of the cat. My son liked the cat's thoughts and "theories" as the cat wasn't privy to the culture and clues of the humans. My son says that this story "stands out", very memorable compared to other books in his library.
